TG4’s new Weather presenters brighten up our screens regardless of the weather.
The station’s callout for new weather presenters earlier this year attracted interest from all over the country and highlighted the breadth of talented Irish language speakers from all areas. Following an intensive screening process, three new presenters were selected, and started training with TG4 this summer. They are now onscreen presenting TG4’s daily weather bulletins.
Below is an introduction to the three new presenters:
Neasa Bheáid hails from Gaoth Dobhair in Donegal. She is currently studying Sociology in University College Cork. Neasa loves dance, including Ballet, and is avid supporter of the Donegal football team.
Neasa says, “The best thing about the weather are the seasons, each season brings its own beauty. And with Irish weather we can get all 4 seasons in one day!”.
